About Jeff Foshee

A former University of Alabama football player and later, a graduate assistant coach there, Jeff Foshee has successfully instructed teams on both technical and tactical football skills. A strategic thinker and highly motivated coach, Jeff Foshee previously played for Alabama under the guidance of Coach Gene Stallings. During his time at the university, Mr. Foshee, who received a four-year scholarship, played in numerous bowl games, including the Blockbuster, Gator, Sugar, and Citrus bowls. He later took up coaching duties at Stanhope Elmore High School in Millbrook, Alabama, where he steadily rose through the ranks to become the head football coach and athletic director. At Curry High School in Jasper, he was the head wrestling coach, assistant football coach and later, head football coach. Throughout his career as player and coach, Mr. Foshee earned multiple recognitions and awards. For instance, while at the University of Alabama, he was a 1992 National Championship letterman. He was also named 2004 Semi Finals and Metro Coach of the Year, 2004 North/South All Star Head Coach, and 2005 Elmore County Coach of the Year. He was an assistant coach in the 2009 Under Armour All-American Game. Over the course of his career, Jeff Foshee coached and mentored over 75 high school players who received college football scholarships, and one of his players was selected in the National Football League draft.
